Wedding on a small budget
This is my first official blog post for this blog, and I wanted to talk about making a wedding happen on an incredibly small budget of under 5k. I probably will not spend close to that, but I don’t want to limit myself too small.
We are choosing to go small budget, because I’d much rather spend the money on something more economically satisfying… such as a house. I’m just not a fan of large frivolous weddings, but that’s me.
For ours though, we are going with a small event. It will be family and close friends only. I will be making a lot of the stuff I need. (i.e. centerpieces, invites, save the dates, favors). Not because I have to, but because I want to. I’m looking forward to blogging about the different things I’m working on.
I’m currently finishing up our save the dates in Photoshop/Illustrator.
